The "S" Family

I got super excited when this family contacted me for some last minute holiday photos last December when they mentioned that they wanted to shoot at the bus depot here in RVA.  Unfortunately, by the time the date had came around the depot had been closed down to the public after a horrible attack on a security guard that worked there.  So, we brainstormed to find another fun colorful mural filled area to use.  I had never been down to the canal walk but knew it was part of the mural project and so we gave it a shot!  The weather tried to ruin our day but gave us enough dry skies to get through.  These parents were two of the most laid back, good natured parents I had met in a while. I love it when parents want something different for their family shoots.  These two cute kids were chalked full of energy and determined to make me work for it.

The "L" Family

I love it when my clients have new locations to shoot at.  For the "L" Fam we got to play around on one of their family friend's farms in Mechanicsville.  The boys couldn't have been any cuter or any more well behaved.  I actually went to high school with mom and dad and it is always fun getting to see what life is like for people after years of not seeing them.  I can say the years have definitely been good to them.....super cute family!

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Richmond

A few months ago I visited the Ronald McDonald House again to take some promo shots for them.  One of the amazing families who has benefited from the house was gracious enough to step in front of the camera.  These are real people, a real family with real smiles who have gotten to experience everything the house has to offer.
