Samson Trinh and his enormous group of fellow musicians brought Richmond another amazing night of music opening up the Dogwood Dell series this year. It was a show I was sure not going to miss.
Mills Family Band opened up the night and as always did not disappoint. MFB is made up of Samson Trinh, Allyson Mills Steele, Curtis Mills, Rusty Farmer, Andy Brockmann and Chris Hale. On this evening they had a special guest mandolin player, Carter Gravat of Carbon Leaf, filling in for Chris Hale. Their sound is classy and fun and is meant for every person of every age.
